Abstract

This study examines how character education is implemented as a preventive measure against bullying at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Abror Al-Robbaniyin using a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, then analyzed through thematic reduction and categorization. The findings show that character education is integrated into all learning and daily activities through religious values, discipline, responsibility, and empathy. Bullying prevention is strengthened through regulation enforcement, moral guidance, exemplary teacher behavior, and multi-layered supervision by pesantren authorities. These combined efforts create a culture of respect, solidarity, and positive social control among students. The study concludes that systematic and continuous character education effectively fosters a safe, inclusive, and bullying-free pesantren environment.
