About the Journal
Esya RAYA: Journal of Islamic Economics and Social Studies is a peer-reviewed and open-access academic journal that publishes scholarly works in the field of Islamic and Shariah Economics. The journal consolidates both theoretical and applied research activities across a broad scope, aiming to publish influential articles that significantly contribute to the development of Islamic economic knowledge.
Esya RAYA: Journal of Islamic Economics is a multidisciplinary journal that is not confined to a single approach, discipline, methodology, or paradigm. It welcomes various research approaches—qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods—in empirical studies related to Islamic economics and finance.
Esya RAYA: Journal of Islamic Economics invites academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to contribute the results of their studies and research in relevant areas of Islamic economics. The journal focuses on topics such as Islamic finance, Islamic banking, zakat and waqf, shariah management, Islamic business, Islamic accounting, digital Islamic economy, as well as contemporary issues in the development of Islamic economics both globally and locally.
This journal is published biannually (two issues per year). All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by experts in the field before being accepted for publication. Each author bears full responsibility for the content of their published article.
