Internalisasi Akhlak Tasawuf dalam Pembentukan Karakter Mahasiswa Muslim di Perguruan Tinggi Islam
Abstract
The growing phenomenon of moral degradation among Muslim students at Islamic higher education institutions highlights the urgent need for a spiritual approach to character development. This study aims to analyze how akhlak tasawuf (Sufi ethics) can be internalized in shaping the character of Muslim students and to identify appropriate strategies for actualizing these values. A library research method was employed, utilizing both primary and secondary literature on akhlak tasawuf, character, and Islamic education. Data were collected from books, journals, and relevant academic studies. The findings reveal that values such as ikhlas, tawadhu’, and sabr significantly contribute to students’ spiritual and social character formation. In conclusion, the internalization of akhlak tasawuf offers a transformative approach to character education that is effectively applicable within the Islamic higher education environment.
