Mengungkap Makna Simbolis: Analisis Semiotika Peirce pada Logo Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia

This study aims to reveal the meaning of the Kemenag Logo using the theory and analysis method of Semiotics according to Charles Sanders Peirce. The data source for this study comes from the official website kemenag.go.id from the analysis it was concluded that the logo of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has eight elements in the logo including: a star symbolizing divinity, a series of 17 cotton flowers, 8 lines of writing in the holy book, and 45 grains of rice symbolizing the determination to maintain the integrity of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, rice and cotton as symbols of prosperity, justice and prosperity. The holy book as a guide to life, the base of the holy book indicates a proportional place, the sentence "Sincerely Doing Good", and the shield that forms an equilateral pentagon symbolizes harmony between religious communities. Other symbols that show the identity of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia are the colors green, yellow, white, and black. Then it can be narrowed down that the meaning contained in each sign is combined into a single meaning that the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia is an institution that prioritizes sincerity in its public services and upholds religion and divinity in every job carried out without forgetting the spirit of nationalism to maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
