This study aims to analyze the concept of depression from the perspective of the Qur'an by examining verses that have a psychological dimension. Depression, as a complex mental condition, is often caused by a variety of factors, including social, emotional, and spiritual pressures. In this regard, the Qur'an offers relevant guidance for understanding and overcoming feelings of depression. Using a qualitative approach and text analysis, this study identifies verses related to human psychological conditions. The verses to be analyzed include: Qs. an-Nisa: 29 and 32, Qs. Yusuf: 87, Qs. al-Hujurat: 12, Qs. al-Baqarah: 155, Qs. Yunus: 57, Qs. al-Fajr: 15-16, Qs. al-Hijr: 56, Qs. Fussilat: 30, Qs. al-Ahzab: 12, and Qs. al-Maidah: 52. These verses provide an overview of depression in the context of the Qur'an. Data collection is carried out through library research, where authors seek information from various books relevant to the issues discussed, especially to build a predetermined theoretical study. The results of this study show that the concept of depression in the perspective of the Qur'an is related to the emotional and spiritual power of human beings which reflects the practice of emotional psychology as well as the faith embedded in their hearts.
